SCOTTISH open

The Scottish Open is the flagship event of the year on the Scottish disc golf calendar. In it's most recent iteration the open has been running for three years now since it's reboot at Glasgow in 2019.

The Scottish Open has a long history on the British Disc Golf Association Tour through the 90s and early 2000s before playing numbers dwindled in the UK and the event stopped being run.

The Glasgow Disc Golf Club brought back the Scottish Open with a successful tournament in 2019 which saw Charlie O'Brien take down the victory in a field of 40 players. The following year the Open was held at Bluebell Woods in Dunbar where it was another O'Brien, this time it was younger brother Joe who triumphed beating stiff competition with a strong playing field of 74. See the full results and previous winners below.

In 2021 the Scottish Open headed back to Springburn Park where it was re-born in 2019. It was once again Joe O'Brien who took down the victory with a -30 score for the event. Joe becomes a two time Scottish Open champion. Rachel Turton continued to make records winning the FA1 division with a -11 score over three rounds! Click the link below for the full results.
